NZAGA Annual General Meeting – 28 August 2024

FreeThe 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the NZ Avocado Growers’ Association Inc. (NZAGA) will be held at 2.30pm on Wednesday 28 August, 2024.
The AGM will be a combination of a virtual and in-person event. For those attending in-person, the AGM will be held at the Mercury Baypark, 81 Truman Lane, Mount Maunganui 3152. For those attending virtually, a webinar link will be sent to all those who register, a week before the AGM. We look forward to seeing you in person and online.
NZAIL Annual General Meeting
NZ Avocado Growers’ Association Inc., NZAIL, is wholly owned by NZAGA, and the NZAGA Executive are the shareholders of NZAIL. The NZAIL AGM will be held within the NZAGA AGM on Wednesday 28 August, 2024. You are invited to attend the NZAIL AGM and the AGM of NZAGA.
HortNZ conferences
This year’s NZAGA AGM is being held concurrently with the HortNZ Horticulture and RSE Conferences. More information about the HortNZ conference is available on the HortNZ website. It is not mandatory for growers attending the AGM to also attend these conferences but it is encouraged where possible. A discounted registration is available to NZ Avocado members. Remits
Remits are vital to the democratic process within the avocado industry and to the running of the NZAGA and NZ Avocado Industry Ltd AMG. A remit is a statement submitted for consideration, which can seek change or innovation to current rules and practices within the avocado industry.

This written notice of remit must be received by the Chief Executive Officer on or before Wednesday 17 July 2024, being six weeks prior to the AGM.

If there are any items of general business you would like discussed at the AGM, please email info@nzavocado.co.nz before the end of Wednesday 23 August 2024. This provides sufficient time to address any specific items in advance and will also help facilitate a timely AGM.
