Mirid monitoring training sessions
September 29 - October 7
Following a number of requests, NZ Avocado is organising mirid monitoring training sessions in Northland and the Bay of Plenty on the following dates:
- Far North: 29 September
- Kerikeri: 30 September
- Whangarei: 1 October
- Katikati: 6 October
- Te Puke: 7 October
Locations are still to be confirmed.
The training will be delivered by Nicola Mauchline, Entomologist at the Bioeconomy Science Institute, with support from the NZ Avocado team.
The sessions will provide a good opportunity for growers and monitors to learn and validate their mirid monitoring skills, as well as ask the BSI and NZ Avocado teams any questions they may have about mirids and their management.
