Phytophthora root rot managment

Phytophthora root rot, often referred to ‘Phytophthora’, is a fungal disease that causes the actively growing feeder roots of avocado trees to die and rot. In avocado trees, this root rot is caused by the species Phytophthora cinnamomi. P. cinnamomi is a soil-borne oomycete that is prevalent in over 70 countries around the world and has a wide range of host plants.
