FREENZ Avocado invites you to join us on Phil Reed’s orchard to see how is innovative approach to growing avocados under tunnel houses is going and discuss aspects of orchard management to maximise financial return. The field day will take place on Wednesday, 23 October 2024 from 10.00am – 12.00pm at 35 Munro Rd, Minden, Wednesday 23 October.
Other topics discussed on the orchard will include:
- Fruit quality and how growers can maximise quality around harvest.
- Nutrient leaching project results and what it means for growers fertiliser plans.
We hope to have a collective discussion on how growers are changing or modifying their orchard management to reduce costs and improve efficiencies on orchard.
