Roadshow – Whangarei – Monday 10 February

The Board will meet in Whangarei on Monday 10 February between 5.30 pm – 7.00 pm at Barge Showgrounds Events Centre, 474 Maunu Road, Maunu, Whangārei 0179 to discuss the industry strategy for the upcoming season.

International dynamics around supply and demand change every year and NZAIL is focused on facilitating positive trade outcomes and supporting growers, packers and exporters to achieve this.

The strategy day will be followed by roadshows in Northland with details to be confirmed and subsequent roadshows in other areas to follow.

To ensure that there are as many views as possible on current challenges and opportunities, grower input is welcome and encouraged.

Feedback can be provided in any format that submitters find appropriate – however, it is suggested that the following headings are used:

• Strengths (unique qualities or advantages – what needs continued support)
• Weaknesses (limitations or deficiencies that hinder the industry as a whole)
• Opportunities (factors or trends that the industry can capitalise on – where is investment and activity best targeted)
• Threats (external threats or areas needing risk management/planning)
