Webinar: Field day recap 10 July 2024

FREE

NZ Avocado invites you to join us for an online webinar summarising the recent round of fieldday events held in the Far North, Whangarei and Katikati, thank you to all of those who were able to attend. Each of the orchards visited were unique which provided an interesting background for some insightful discussions .

The central theme was on-orchard efficiency with the main topics highlighted being:

  • Improving packout through shelter and canopy management
  • Optimising fertiliser application to reduce costs as well as risk to fruit quality and water quality.

During these field days other topics were also discussed and the webinar will endeavour to cover these topics as well other useful nuggets of information shared by growers that may help on your own orchard.

NZ Avocado welcomes you to submit questions for the webinar when you register to attend.
The NZ Avocado team will do their best to answer these questions but you will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the webinar using the chat function.

The webinar will be recorded and shared following the event to allow members to view at a time that suits.

If you cannot attend the webinar but would still like to submit a question, feel free to register regardless. A link to the webinar recording will be sent to all those who register – it will also be published on the NZ Avocado Industry website.

Register below for the webinar. If you cannot watch the webinar live and have questions, please register and enter your questions below. Everyone who registers will receive a link to the recording and any relevant notes. Questions can also be asked during the webinar via the Q&A feature.
