NZAGA Te Puke field day – new date

NZAGA invites members  to join us at the autumn field day at Te Pare Trust Orchard in Te Puke.

The field day will provide an industry overview, revisit trees flower pruned in spring and  we will discuss the key orchard management practices for autumn including:

• Tree health issue diagnosis and actions including phosphonate application for Phytophthora control.
• Update on latest root stock trial performance.
• Update of Avovantage project looking at influence of on-orchard management practices on fruit quality.
• Fertiliser use.
