Katikati field day

FreeNZ Avocado invites you to join us for a field day on 30 September 2020 from 2.00pm – 4.00pm at John and Mary Bowen’s orchard, 80 Prestidge Road, Katikati.
An industry update will be provided by the NZ Avocado team, followed by an orchard walk where growers can ask questions and discuss technical information relevant to this time of year.
Fruit size, plus the role that crop load and soil moisture can play in fruit size, will be discussed. NZ Avocado will also share some practical steps that growers can take to maximise fruit size. Growers will be encouraged to share their own experiences of fruit size this season, and what you think is positively or negatively having an impact.
