Field day and Meet the candidates: Whangarei, 17 July 2025

NZ Avocado invites you to join us at Kathy and Ross’s orchard, 59 Crawford Rd, Whangarei. We’ll be discussing fundamental and practical pruning tips alongside efforts to increase fruit set in low set years. Emphasis will be put on management to maximise financial returns and fruit quality. Thursday, 17 July 2025 from 1.00pm – 3.00pm at 59 Crawford Rd, Whangarei.

Other topics discussed on the orchard will include:

• Fruit quality and how growers can maximise quality around harvest.

We hope to have a collective discussion on how growers are approaching their own pruning and canopy management.
