Field day and Meet the candidates: Far North, 16 July 2025

NZ Avocado invites you to join us at Millpara orchard in the Far North. We’ll be discussing fundamental and practical pruning tips alongside discussing the earth works on the property to manage drainage. Emphasis will be put on management to maximise financial returns and fruit quality. Wednesday, 16 July 2025 from 1.00pm – 3.00pm at 1806 Far North Road, Waiharara.

Other topics discussed on the orchard will include:

• Fruit quality and how growers can maximise quality around harvest.

We hope to have a collective discussion on how growers are approaching their own pruning and canopy management.
