Webinar: Pollination

NZ Avocado will host a Spring activity webinar on Friday 12 September running from 1:00pm – 2:00pm.

Topics covered will help growers understand flowering, pollination, hive management and fruit set on their orchard to maximise yield and keep your bee keeper happy. Maximising fruit quality will also be discussed.

This will include:

• Avocado flowering basics
• Benefits of crop load management
• Practical considerations for beehive management on your orchard
• Harvest considerations to protect fruit quality
• Nutrient and pathogen management to optimise fruit quality

We will also provide links to useful resources on the NZ Avocado website. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions via the chat function
