Fertco Organic growers workshop

Come and join us at the Fertco Organic Growers Workshop. Bringing together four highly respected soil and fertiliser professionals, this event will advance attendees knowledge of establishing and maintaining superior soil physical, chemical and biological health under an organic regime. Speakers:

Graham Shepherd: BSc, MSc, Waikato University (Earth Sciences). Graham Shepherd will be doing a practical soil health demonstration at a Bobs Orchard and will talk about Visual Soil Assement.

Dr. Gordan Rajendram: Soil Scientist PhD. Dr. Gordon Rajendram will be presenting on the latest soil testing, the benefits of hot water Nitrogen and Carbon test and organic matter tests.

Cherryle Prew: Owner and Manager of Soil Foodweb NZ. Cherryle Prew will be presenting on the Biological World beneath our feet and its importance to crop production.

Mike Spears: BSc, M Dip.PL. Sci. (40 years’ experience). Mike will be presenting on composts and vermicast products, why do we use composts, how composts are made and what composts do.
