Meet the candidates – Whangarei 3 August 2021

Over the next month, voters will have the opportunity to meet the candidates for the Mid North position for the NZAGA Board, before casting a vote. Events are being hosted in Whangarei to give growers the opportunity to meet all three candidates, and to learn more about the skills and capabilities they could offer as representatives on the executive committee of NZAGA and board of NZ Avocado Industry Limited.

The New Zealand Avocado Growers’ Association Inc. (NZAGA) board will host a “Meet the Candidates” meeting in Whangarei on Tuesday 3 August at The Barge Showgrounds, Presidents room, 474 Maunu Road, Whangarei from 4.00pm to 6.00pm

Please join us to meet three candidates who have put their names forward for the Mid North position on the NZAGA Board.

The three candidates for the Mid North position are:

• Trudy Barnett, Cat Orchard Ltd, Mangawhai
• Blair Morris, Harbour Edge Avocados, Alexander Cropping Ltd & Southern Paprika Ltd, Alexander Trustee Ltd
• Richard Booth, R&S Booth Trust, Whangarei
