SUMMARY:Katikati - Constitution and structure of NZAGA grower meeting
DESCRIPTION:Brad Siebert will host consultation sessions with growers across the growing sessions to answer questions and hear feedback on the proposed constitution and structure of NZAGA. A grower meeting will be held in Katikati on 26 June between 1.30-2.30 at Debrief Cafe 603 State Highway 2\, Tahawai 3170. \nConsultation is now open on two major changes that will shape the future of the avocado industry association.\nThe NZ Avocado Growers’ Association (NZAGA) is proposing a new Constitution to comply with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. All societies must re-register under the new Act by April 2026. The updated draft Constitution includes the new legal requirements as well as the required changes to give effect to the proposed restructure of the association by winding up NZ Avocado Industry Ltd (NZAIL) and shifting all functions to the grower society (NZAGA). This move would simplify governance\, reduce costs\, and enhance the grower voice. \nWe strongly encourage all growers and exporters to engage in the consultation and help shape the path forward. \nRead the consultation documents here \nPlease register below:\n\n \n Name* PPIN (if applicable) Email*\n \n Have your contact details changed?\n \n Yes\, NZ Avocado will update your records.\n PhonePostal address \n \n \n \n Street Address\n \n \n Address Line 2\n \n \n City\n \n \n State / Province / Region\n \n \n ZIP / Postal Code\n \n \n CAPTCHA
