SUMMARY:WAC 2027
DESCRIPTION:Planning for the World Avocado Congress 2027 is now underway. The congress will be hosted and organised by the South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA)\, the country’s national grower organisation. The programme will feature scientific\, technical\, and commercial sessions\, alongside technical tours that include visits to commercial avocado nurseries\, orchards\, and packhouses—offering attendees valuable practical insights into industry best practices. \nMore details on the congress programme are available on the congress website: wac2027.com \nFor growers interested in attending\, NZ Avocado will circulate practical travel advice covering visas\, vaccinations\, and what to expect on the ground in South Africa\, along with coordinated options for group hotel bookings and flights. Beyond the official congress programme\, we are also exploring a range of group activities—from sightseeing and cultural experiences to informal networking opportunities—so the trip offers both professional value and a chance to connect with fellow growers. If you’d like to hear more\, please register your interest now to stay informed as plans take shape\, and we’ll keep you updated on key dates\, costs\, and booking deadlines as details are confirmed. \nRegistering your interest is simply a way to stay in the loop—it doesn’t commit you to anything\, so there’s no obligation to travel. \nUpcoming drop-in session\nTo ensure the trip meets the needs and interests of those considering attending\, we will also be hosting a follow-up drop-in session on Friday 11 September at 12pm. This session will provide an opportunity to hear the latest updates and share your feedback on the proposed itinerary and plans. We encourage anyone interested in the trip to join the discussion and help shape this exciting opportunity. \nFriday 11 September 12pm \nJoin: https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/451500030878085?p=bkhq4GWKCqmQYx5xYz\nMeeting ID: 451 500 030 878 085\nPasscode: nA3zS9fM \nRegister your expression of interest below to receive more information:\n\n \n Name*PPIN (if applicable)How many potential travelers would be in your group?*Please enter a number greater than or equal to 1.Email*\n \n Have your contact details changed?\n \n Yes\, NZ Avocado will update your records.\n PhonePostal address \n \n \n \n Street Address\n \n \n Address Line 2\n \n \n City\n \n \n State / Province / Region\n \n \n ZIP / Postal Code\n \n \n CAPTCHA
