DESCRIPTION:NZ Avocado invites you to join us at Steve and Sheryl Badger’s orchard 1616 State Highway 14\, Maungatapere\, Whangarei from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm\, Thursday 19 February. \nAvocado growing continues to be challenging and we would like to bring growers together to compare notes and discuss actions that can help. NZ Avocado CEO\, Brad Siebert will be present along with Research Manager\, Phillip West to answer questions\, hear from growers and provide updates on research activity supporting grower outcomes. Updates will be provided on Mirid insect’s impact on yield\, fruit quality to reduce in-market losses and research to understand the most profitable production systems for New Zealand conditions.
