We’ll be discussing fundamental and practical pruning tips alongside discussing the earth works on the property to manage drainage. Emphasis will be put on management to maximise financial returns and fruit quality. Wednesday\, 16 July 2025 from 1.00pm – 3.00pm at 1806 Far North Road\, Waiharara. \nOther topics discussed on the orchard will include: \n\nFruit quality and how growers can maximise quality around harvest.\n\nWe hope to have a collective discussion on how growers are approaching their own pruning and canopy management. \nMeet the candidates\nDuring the field day\, the candidates for the NZAGA North representative position will be given the opportunity to talk about what they will bring to the board table and their views for the future of NZAGA and its grower members.
